Sea Life Park

Sea Life Park is a great place to go if you want to get up close and personal with marine life. When my son was younger, we used to have an annual pass and we went there frequently. It's one of my favorite places to bring visiting friends who have children. Over the years, I have swum with the dolphins, snorkeled with the stingrays, fed the sea turtles, fed the sea lions, touched a slimy assortment of ocean critters, been mesmerized by the Hawaiian Reef Aquarium, learned about the penguins, watched the two dolphin shows and the sea lion show, and ate lunch (after thoroughly washing my hands, of course..)

The park itself is quite small. You can easily walk from place to place without getting tired. The ocean views are spectacular from the Dolphin Cove. There is a large eating area with decent food for lunch. All in all, it's a fun day.

If you want to do one of the interactive programs, like swim with the dolphins, you need to make reservations in advance to guarantee a spot. Just click on the Sea Life Park website link below to do that. You will also want to check the show schedule before coming to the park. It seems to vary depending on the time of year and you'll want to make sure you don't miss the main ones.
